Golf Course Reviews
My partner and I love to travel and play golf. So much so, we’ve developed a 100 point rating system to rate each golf course experience. We find it really enhances the game - you pay attention to things that make a course unique, and you realise how much really goes into the design and maintenance of each course (see ways to incorporate the mental game, here).
Below are some of the courses we’ve played and pics and commentary on why we loved them. Take a look and be inspired to diversify your experience of the game - with a focus on learning, enjoyment and performance.

Handara Golf Resort Bali

Darwin Golf Course
The Darwin Golf Course in Marrara is the best in the Northern Territory according to the locals and we were lucky to get nine holes in on a Monday morning before the weather got too hot.
Mount Compass Golf Course

Leura Golf Course
After an early morning yoga session overlooking the three sisters, we played Leura Golf Course in the picturesque Blue Mountains at 10.04 on a Thursday. The course was in fantastic condition for a country course, with an interesting mix of European and Indigenous trees. Some lovely vistas and a really welcoming proshop team - it was a pleasure to get off the beaten track and play Leura Golf Course. See sarahknoll.com/coursereviews for full story.
